“Solo female traveller, came for 3 nights was very apprehensive as Ive never stayed anywhere on my own before. Prior to check in, I was messaged asking for my time of arrival and it clashed with out of hours. I was given very detailed self check in information via text message, which was very easy to follow. When I arrived I found my way to my room. A basic single room, but very clean with a comfortable bed. 5* from me. Later, I found my way to the hotel bar were I met a lovely staff member. I was very nervous about being on my own, but this soon went away. I had a very comfortable 3 night stay and would definitely come back when I return to the area.”

I have been all over Scotland and England and eaten fully cooked breakfasts….what can I say, freshly ground coffee, tea leaves in a pot and service with a smile. The food was without doubt in my top 5 breakfasts in 40 plus years. I can not recommend the place enough.”

“Have been visiting Gingers @ The Embassy since it opened, and it never fails on taste and quality. The family run business uses decent produce which is reflected in the quality of the food. I normally use the take away service, but taking out or staying in to eat, the food tastes just as good. The homemade sausage rolls, scotch eggs and cakes are well worth a try.”

"Stayed here for 2 nights on a visit to see a family member. Bedroom was very clean with the addition of an en suite. Had breakfast in Gingers and Sarah couldn't have been more accommodating, was more than happy to make me a breakfast choice.
Gingers itself had a lovely ambiance. I was a bit worried about the noise as the room was above the function room which was booked both nights I was there, but there were no issues whatsoever. Will definitely stay here again on future visits!"
